Is it just me or have snowmobiles gotten progressively uglier over the past 15 years? I get what is driving it, more rearward engine placement, better ergo, suspension..... but it looks like they ran into a wall.

Maybe I’m just not used to them vs what I grew up with.

i was used to the 80s-90s styles myself.
but the new styles are really more comfortable.
this is what i have
a 2007 Venture MP. and the engine is basically under the gas tank. The front “hood” opens to the air filter. all plastics and gas tank must be removed to change the oil filter.
It is comfy, and you are seated high up like a motorbike.(almost goldwingish) I’m used to the looks now, since this is the common look.

I’m more of the late 90s/early 00's styling. ZR/F6 type. Short track. Sitting low, hanging off the seat in a corner.

*Wish this was me.

If you think those are ugly, my sled will rip your eyes out
All things considered its not nearly as ugly as it was in 2007. Just way ahead of time
